Our 3 day Discover of Angkor package invites you to discover the legendary temples of the Khmer Kingdom on a tour that takes you from the famous Angkor Wat to ancient, less-visited temples in Rolous Group which is nestled deep in the jungle. Besides discovering the famous temples in the Angkor Complex this package also includes the visit to floating village in Tonle Sap Lake and the climb to a striking mountainous ruin of Phnom Krom overlooking tranquil countryside setting.

DAY-1. SIEM RAEP-ARRIVAL-BANTEAY SREI-PREAH KHAN TEMPLES

Welcome to Siem Reap - the gateway into the legendry Angkor temples. On arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide and driver OF ‘’Angkor Daily’’ and taken to your hotel to check in. Time for refreshment followed by the welcome lunch at a local restaurant.

The afternoon exploration starts with a visit to Banteay Srei, regarded as the women’s citadel and home to Angkor’s finest stone carvings. Banteay Srei temple is located about 37km north of Siem Reap and is the most remote of the temples in the Angkor World Heritage Site. It was designed by Yajnavaraha, a court official of King Rajendravarman [944-968AD] and the principal Brahmanist instructor of King Jayavarman V.

On the way back to town, pay a visit to Preah Khan (Sacred Sword): one of Angkor’s largest temples, constructed in the 12th century BY JayavarmanVII. Later this afternoon, you will return to the hotel where you will spend your time on your own.

DAY-2. SIN RISE AT ANGKORWAT-ANGKORTHOM-TA PROHM-FLOATING VILLAGE-SUNSET

Wake before dawn and take a tuk-tuk ride to visit the magnificent Angkor Wat - the largest Khmer temple and finest example of Angkorian art and architecture. Dawn is one of the most beautiful and haunting times to visit the temples, whose ancient sandstone blocks are painted gold by the early morning rays.

Enjoy the breakfast box brought from hotel then your journey continues with a visit of the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its majestic doors and artifacts. Later, visit the Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King and Takeo "Jewel of Crystal", which is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva and was erected at the end of the 10th century. You should not miss Ta Prohm Temple, which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty with its giant trees that have grown there for centuries.

Later of the day, head out of town and embark on a short cruise along Tonle Sap Lake to visit the local floating villages. On the way back to your hotel, we will stop to watch the sunset from the foot of Phnom Krohm Mountain.

DAY-3. SIEM REAP-ROLOUS GROUP-DEPARTURE

This morning, check out your hotel and we take an hour drive out of town to the ancient capital of King Indravarman I (877-889), now referred to as the Rolous Group and known as the birthplace of classical Khmer art and architecture.

Return to Siem Reap center in the afternoon and explore the Psar Chass, also known as the “Old Market,” for some last minute souvenir shopping, before driving to the airport to catch your departure flight home. Have a Safe travel!
